By registering an account and playing on this server, you agree to abide by the following rules. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. The Game Masters (GMs) reserve the right to apply punishments based on the severity of the offense.
1. General Conduct & Communication
Respect the Community: Racism, hate speech, severe toxicity, and real-life threats are strictly forbidden. Friendly banter is allowed, but harassment is not.
Global Chat Etiquette: Do not spam Global Chat. Discussions involving real-world politics, religion, or toxic drama are prohibited.
No Advertising: Mentioning, promoting, or recruiting for other Silkroad private servers or other games will result in an immediate permanent ban.
Respect the Staff: Impersonating a Game Master or spreading false rumors about the staff/server will lead to an instant ban. GMs will never ask for your password.
2. Botting & Third-Party Tools
Bots are Allowed: You are permitted to use standard botting software (e.g., phBot, sBot, or built-in macros) for grinding, farming, and alchemy.
No Botting in Events: Using bots, macros, or AFK scripts in competitive events (Capture the Flag, Battle Arena, Survival Arena, Madness) is strictly forbidden. You must play actively. AFK players will be disconnected and barred from future events.
No Botting Uniques: Using automated scripts to hunt, trace, or kill Uniques is prohibited. Uniques are meant for active players.
Malicious Tools: The use of cheat engines, packet editors, or any software that exploits server memory/code is strictly forbidden.
3. Account Limits & Hardware ID (HWID)
PC / IP Limits: The server enforces a strict limit of 2 PC / 4 IPย characters logged in simultaneously per PC and IP address.
Bypassing Limits: Using VPNs, Proxies, Virtual Machines (VMware/VirtualBox), or rootkits to bypass the PC/IP limit is a severe offense. All associated accounts will be permanently banned.
Stall Characters: Any character used for stalling counts toward your total PC/IP limit.
4. The Job System (Trader / Hunter / Thief)
No Job Botting: You cannot use a bot to automate trade runs, hunting, or thieving. Jobbing must be done 100% manually.
No "Trace" in Job Mode: Using the "Trace" function on another player while wearing a Job Suit is strictly forbidden to prevent AFK caravan trains.
Job Cheating / Contribution Abuse: Trading with your own alternate characters (or coordinating with friends to fake deaths) to farm Job Contribution, Gold, or Job Points is considered exploiting and will result in a wipe of your Job points and a suspension.
Safe Zone Abuse: Repeatedly jumping in and out of safe zones (Town borders) during Job PvP to avoid dying is prohibited.
5. Game Mechanics & Exploits
Bug Abuse: If you discover a bug or exploit, you must report it to the staff immediately. Exploiting bugs for personal gain (e.g., duplicating items, abusing spawn rates, glitching through walls) will result in a permanent hardware ban.
Client Modifications: Modifying .pk2 files to gain an unfair advantage (such as removing walls, zooming out infinitely beyond server limits, or making certain skill animations invisible) is forbidden. Purely cosmetic edits (UI themes, font changes) are allowed.
6. Trading, Scams & Account Security
Real Money Trading (RMT): Buying or selling Gold, Items, or Accounts for Real Money is [Choose one based on your server vision: strictly forbidden / done entirely at your own risk]. Note: Most modern servers forbid RMT to prevent inflation, but allow players to buy/sell Silk via the in-game stall network.
Account Sharing: Sharing your account information is done at your own risk. The staff will not recover items, gold, or characters lost due to account sharing or poor password security.
Scamming: Scamming other players is heavily frowned upon. While staff does not act as a police force for bad trades, players caught running organized, large-scale scams will be punished. Always double-check the trade window and stall prices before confirming.
7. Enforcement & Penalties
Depending on the severity and frequency of the broken rule, Game Masters may apply:
Warning / Kick: For minor chat offenses or accidental rule breaks.
Temporary Ban (1 to 7 Days): For repeated toxicity, AFK event farming, or minor job abuse.
Permanent IP/HWID Ban: For bypassing hardware limits, using cheat engines, advertising other servers, or severe exploits.
8. Donation Policy & Silk
Supporting the Server: Donations are completely voluntary and represent a way to financially support the server in covering hosting, protection, and continuous development costs.
Silk Reward: As a token of appreciation for your support and generosity, we reward you with Silk (the game's premium currency).
Non-Refundable: All donations made to the server are final and non-refundable. By completing a donation, you agree that the funds sent are for direct support and that you have received your Silk reward, waiving any right to a refund.
Chargeback Attempts: Any attempt to reverse a transaction (dispute / chargeback via PayPal, bank, credit card, etc.) after the Silk has been delivered will be considered fraud. This will result in an immediate and permanent ban of all associated accounts, as well as a permanent HWID (Hardware ID) and IP block.
